Barnhart's standup comedy is both funny and intelligent and he brings social awareness to light with thought provoking insights that are as hysterical as they are poignant. Don Barnhart is the founder of Battle Comics andhas been entertaining the troops since 1992. He currently stars in the new documentary I AM BATTLE COMIC by filmmaker Jordan Brady. The film includes behind the scenes footage along with interviews from many of the comedians that have recently volunteered their time to go overseas including George Wallace, Dave Attell and George Lopez. The comedians share their insights and thoughts on the impact of entertaining the troops and the importance of keeping our soldiers' moral high.
As an author, Barnhart is the author of the new book Rock Bottomabout a returning Vet who comes home, loses everything and becomes the Robin Hood of the Homeless finding his way back through humor and grace.
Don is also the author a book on standup comedy Finding Your Funny that is a Best Seller List on Amazon and includes a humorous and heartfelt forward by Comedy Legend George Wallace. Finding Your Funny goes beyond Barnhart's own 25-year journey and shares the brutal, often overlooked experience and advice of other comedians, entertainers, managers, agents and bookers. Barnhart is also the author of Creating The Life You Desireand a contributing author on I Killed.
Barnhart can be seen in new comedy series Jokesters TV on The Action Channel and The CW. Our Age limit is 15 years of age and up with a parent or adult, 18 and up with out a parent or adult and of course 21 years of age to drink. Everyone under the age of 30 should have their ID with them when they check-in. No ID, No alcoholic beverages.
