Sitting on the dock with a fishing pole and a beer in their hands, three childhood friends reminisce on the experience of adulthood including the possible purchase of the pier they used to play on together as children. They also work to remedy the completely ironic love triangle they have all found themselves in... with the same woman. Curley, Gordon, and Frog have to learn that their friendship with each other may just be worth the compromise.
'Catfish Moon' is sure to leave you laughing and with the desire to take a trip down to the river with your ol' school pals (and a couple of beers). Written by Laddy Sartin of Rock Hill, and taking place on a dock of a South Carolina, 'Catfish Moon' has all of the little aspects of day to day life South Carolinians recognize as home. The James F. Dean theatre, home to the Flowertown Players, will be transformed into a beautiful lifelike pier, becoming an almost replica of those found here in the Lowcountry. The cast, Barry Gordon, Ernie Eliason, Chad Reuer, and Shannon Johnson (respectively acting as Curley, Gordon, Frog, and Betty) brings the stage to life with charisma and humor you can only find here in the south.
"The show is highly energetic and totally funny with down home southern charm," says director, Crissy Eliason. "It's sure to be a new favorite for anyone who comes to watch."Videos
