At a festival celebrating the 78th birthday of the late Patsy Cline, held on the singer's front steps in Winchester, VA and judged by her surviving family and friends, Carol Glass thrilled the crowd with her amazing ability to sing like the country music star. Glass, who lives in Seneca and has performed Patsy Cline songs in area festivals and programs for the last seven years, brought back the title and the knowledge that her voice was the closest thing to those who knew Patsy best.
Carol's music is often featured on 96.3 WGOG and she will be performing two shows at the Electric City Playhouse on March 11th and 12th at 8PM. The show will tell the story of Patsy's life through her songs and will be accompanied The Legacy Band. Tickets are expected to sell quickly and seating is limited. All general seating tickets are $20 and can be purchased by calling the Electric City Playhouse Box Office at (864) 224-4248.
