For this recital, the Gesualdo Quartet joins Nathan Gunn and his wife, pianist Julie Gunn. The Gunns revisits a carefully curated program similar to one performed at Carnegie Hall to rave reviews. Additional highlights include Samuel Barber’s bleakly beautiful work for baritone and string quartet, Dover Beach and the chamber version of Jennifer Higdon’s Dooryard Bloomed—absolutely exquisite.
