Before a song by Will.i.am (Black Eyed Peas) was beamed from Mars to Earth, Kronos, now celebrating its 40th anniversary, worked with NASA to record radio emissions of Saturn, turn them into audible frequencies and incorporate those space sounds into Sun Rings. The evening-length spectacular is set to visual designs including rarely seen video images from the Jet Propulsion Laboratories, the lead U.S. center for robotic exploration of the solar system.
