Three Rivers Music Theatre is thrilled to present the first production of their 2018/19 season! From the creators of DEAR EVAN HANSEN and THE GREATEST SHOWMAN, Pasek and Paul, DOGFIGHT will open TRMT's third season! Additionally, TRMT is excited to announce their partial residency with Wunderkammer Company, and the extension of their runs!
It's November 21, 1963. On the eve of their deployment to a small but growing conflict in Southeast Asia, three young Marines set out for one final boys' night of debauchery, partying and maybe a little trouble. But, when Corporal Eddie Birdlace meets Rose, an awkward and idealistic waitress whom he enlists to win a cruel bet with his fellow recruits, she rewrites the rules of the game and teaches him the power of love and compassion.
The hauntingly beautiful musical, DOGFIGHT, by Pasek & Paul and Peter Duchan, was praised by countless critics and nominated for numerous awards, winning the Lucille Lortel Award for Best Musical. Based on the 1991 Warner Brothers film, DOGFIGHT takes audiences on a romantic and heartbreaking theatrical journey that stays with you long after the performance.
The cast of DOGFIGHT includes Kathleen Fox (Rose), Chandler Chastain (Eddie Birdlace), Jayden Cano (Boland), Jacob Kellen (Bernstein), Sophie Smekens (Marcy), Riley Newsome (Fector), Daniel Moser (Stephens), Richard Hargis (Gibbs), Maggie Kole-Hunter (Mama), Jake Wilhelm (Lounge Singer/Ensemble), Alayna Thornton (Ensemble), and Gwen Baer (Ensemble).
The creative team includes Andy Planck (Director), Brandon Porter (Music Director), Lyssa Troemel (Stage Manager), Kalee McCullar (Set Design), Michelle Brady (Costume Designer), Derek Bever (Lighting Designer), and Bobbi Jo Carroll (Props Master).
