South Bend Civic Theatre stages Michael Hollinger's hilarious spy spoof Red Herring in the Warner Theatre April 25-May 11.

Its 1952 - a time of "I Like Ike," McCarthyism, and Cold War espionage. A detective and her FBI agent boyfriend must unravel a murder, a spy plot, and finally decide on tying the knot. A film noir comedy with a triple romance that will have you laughing at the mystery hijinks. A blunt-nosed sharp-eyed look at love and tying (and untying, and retying) the knot.

Director Craig MacNab leads Tori Abram-Copenhaver, Daniel Grey, Lucinda Moriarty, Mark Moriarty, Casey St. Aubin, and Nora Ryan Taylor in the shenanigans.

Red Herring performs in the Warner Theatre April 25-May 11, 2014. Tickets are $18 Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and $15 Wednesdays and Thursdays. Performances are 7:30 PM Wednesdays-Saturdays and 2:00 PM on Sundays. For more information and to order tickets call the Box Office at 574-234-1112, visit online at sbct.org, or in person at 403 N. Main St. in South Bend.

And join SBCT for a special warm-up to Red Herring with a special showing of the Steve Martin noir comedy Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid, Saturday April 19 at 7:30 PM in the Wilson Theatre. Tickets are $5 and may be purchased by calling the Box Office 574-234-1112 or online at sbct.org.
