South Bend Civic Theatre will present an evening of holiday songs Wednesday December 18th at 7:30 PM celebrating the many traditions and faiths of the season performed by SBCT company members. The concert will be a tribute to longtime SBCT board president, member, patron, and friend Tom Lower, who passed away suddenly earlier this year. Donations will be accepted at the concert to benefit a memorial in recognition of Tom's service and devotion to South Bend Civic Theatre. Tom chaired the capital campaign that raised the funds to acquire the new building for SBCT and was instrumental in developing the fundraising efforts to create the Jim Coppens Endowment which will ensure the long-term sustainability of SBCT. The concert will be held in the Wilson Theatre. Tickets are $10, and are available by calling the SBCT Box Office at 574-234-1112 or going online at www.sbct.org. South Bend Civic Theatre is located at 403 N. Main St.

The concert program is produced by SBCT's Firehouse Cabaret Series in association with Lampkin Magic Productions. The production is conceived and directed by Ralph Lampkin with Roy Bronkema as musical arranger director and Phil Patnaude as Technical Director. Performers include the Clear family, Jenny DeDario, Dawn Marie Hagerty, Joshua Ingle, Jr., Seyhan Kilic, Don Lerman, Jamie Mester, Audrey Raymond, MaryBeth Saunders, Andrea Smiddy-Schlagel, Michael Snyder, Justin Williams, Jared Windhauser, and Rob Zimmer.

South Bend Civic Theatre, an award-winning and nationally ranked theatre, is the oldest continuously operating community theatre company in the South Bend/Mishawaka area. Founded in 1957, it staged most of its productions since 1968 at The Firehouse, a local historic landmark located at 701 Portage Ave., in the city's historic Park Avenue neighborhood. Since the beginning of 2007, SBCT's 50th Anniversary year, SBCT's productions have been held in their newly renovated, state-of-the-art, theatre located at 403 N. Main St. SBCT features the 209 seat Wilson Theatre and 90 seat versatile "black-box" Warner Theatre. SBCT also performs in many other venues in the region including the Bendix Theatre at Century Center and the Battell Center in Mishawaka.
