The third annual Trail of Terror consists of a new theme and a no scare hour.
In partnership with the Lincoln Amphitheatre and Friends of Lincoln State Park, the theme for the Trail of Terror this year is "Creatures of the Night." The scenes consist of bats in a cave, ghouls, vampires and zombies. The Trail of Terror will begin in Lincoln Amphitheatre's cast house and wind the woods of Lincoln State Park to complete the haunted trail.
The No Scare Hour consists of walk through tours of the haunted maze without the scare factor and will take place in broad daylight. The lights in the cast house (where the bulk of the maze takes place) will remain turned on during the No Scare Hour.
The Trail of Terror runs October 12, 19, and 26 with the No Scare Hour running from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. CDT and the Scare Trail of Terror tours run from 7:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. CDT.
Tickets are $5 per person plus a $5 in-state and $7 out-of-state per car gate fee to enter Lincoln State Park. Children ages 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
