Fort Wayne Civic Theatre is proud to present Grace and Glorie by Tom Ziegler.

In a cottage nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains a feisty 90 year old cancer patient, Grace, has checked herself out of the hospital and returned to her beloved homestead to die alone.

Gloria, the volunteer hospice worker, appears with the pain medication Grace willfully left behind. A Harvard MBA, Gloria is recently transplanted from New York.

Haunted by her past, Gloria is tense, unhappy and guilt ridden. As she attempts to care for and comfort the cantankerous Grace, this sophisticated urbanite gains new perspectives on values and life's highs and lows.

With a touch of gentle humor, two generations from very different worlds find both common ground and shared compassion.

Performances will run tonight, March 28 at 8 pm, Saturday, March 29 at 8 pm, Sunday, March 30 at 2 pm, Friday, April 4 at 8 pm, Saturday, April 5 at 8 pm, Sunday, April 6 at 2 pm, Friday, April 11 at 8 pm, Saturday, April 12 at 8 pm, and Sunday, April 13 at 2 pm at the Auer Center ArtsLab Black Box Theatre - 300 E.
