Elkhart Civic Theatre's summer musical MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS opens August 6 for a one-weekend run only at the lovely and comfortable Jimtown High School (59021 CR 3 South, Elkhart, IN 46517).

Performances are Friday and Saturday, August 6 and 7 at 7:30 pm with a Sunday matinee on August 8 at 3pm. Tickets for the show are $18.00 for adults, $15.00 for Students and Sennior Citizens 62 and over, and $10.00 for children 12 and under.

Tickets for MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS go on sale July 1st and can be purchaed  by calling 574-848-4116 Monday through Friday from 1 to 5:30pm.

MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS is the story of a happy family's life as they anticipate the wonders of the 1904 World's Fair. The play includes seven of the best loved songs from the film and 10 wonderful new numbers, also by Martin and Blaine, written specially for the stage. The songs include "Meet me in St. Louis", "The Trolley Song", "The Boy Next Door", and of course the classic "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas."

The cast is strong, led by Kristin Riggs, Alex Pote, Jacob Medich and Tyler Miller. Stephanie Yoder, Richard Fansler, McKenna Kaczanowski, Amelia Greene, Charlie Arnold and Jennifer Medich makes up the rest of the Smith family, while a company of over 30 singers and dancers will fill the stage with the sights, sounds and memories of this family classic.

Michael Cripe directs the show, assisted by Dana Vagg. Chroeography is by Tom Myers and Jackie Jerlecki. Vocal direction for MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS is by Michelle Beyler, with music direction by Mark Swendsen, costumes by Dawn Blessing, set by John Shoup, props Teri Szynski and Lee Town, and hair by Kerri Blair.
