Cape Productions hopes to build on the Suidooosterfees's commitment to heritage arts in the 50th commemorative year of the injustice to the community of Distrik6, with a Malay Choir Concert in Artscape. The Malay communities that already exist since 1652 has expanded over the years with their distinctive culture, with strong influences also in the development of Cape Town as well as the African language. Mannekore later became an integral part of the lifestyle, and with the establishment of the Cape Malay Choir Board in 1938, with the help of writer and journalist, Dr ID du Plessis, are annual competitions as the highlight presented at the Good Hope Centre with more than 10 000 ondersteuners.KANALA (roughly translated, free, free, for the glory of Allah) that the tradition of Cape Malay choirs over the decades portray comprises the tradition of Dutch songs, comic moppies old Afrikaanseliede and the marching troops and vlottebou and the involvement of young people and women.
