Symphony Of Dance at Artscape Opera House

A collaboration between the CAPE TOWN CITY BALLET, an 80-year old performing company, and the CAPE TOWN PHILHARMONIC Orchestra, for an entire evening of dance.
With this production, the CTCB and the CTPO share the stage and the audience can follow the action of the orchestra players while simultaneously watching the music come alive in the dance.

The second half of the programme is a newly-choreographed ballet by Robin van Wyk to Sergei Rachmaninov’s Concerto for Piano & Orchestra No 2 in C minor Op.18, titled A RACHMANINOV ROMANCE.
