STARLIGHT EXPRESS at Joburg Theatre

Musical theatre star CARLY GRAEME has been cast as PEARL. Carly achieved personal triumph with her starring role in Joburg Theatre’s World Cup 2010 production of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Ben Elton’s musical The Boys In The Photograph and is currently featured in the Joburg Theatre pantomime Jack and The Beanstalk.

The very flashy role of ELECTRA will be performed by FERDI GERNANDT. No stranger to the South African music and theatre industry, Ferdi performed lead roles in Saturday Night Fever, Chicago and We Will Rock You.

The resident tough guy and current champion of the STARLIGHT EXPRESS great race, GREASEBALL, will be played by talented performer ANDREW WEBSTER.

Dynamic performer ZIYANDA YAKA has been cast as DINAH – a sassy country ‘dining coach’ that has caught GREASEBALL’s heart, but lost it at the same time! Ziyanda’s musical theatre credits include Footloose, Dream Girls, Janice Honeyman's pantomimes Robinson Crusoe, Cinderella and the current Jack and The Beanstalk.
