Purpose is part of the 15th annual Baxter Zabalaza Theatre Festival, which celebrates transformative artistic excellence from March 14 to March 22, 2025. Written by Lwanda Sindaphi and directed by Thando Doni, the play explores a young man's journey as he grapples with being summoned to become a traditional healer amidst the complexities of doubt and understanding. This festival aims to showcase a mix of new and established talent through a series of ten productions, reflecting the diverse narratives of South Africa.
