King of Ghosts (Esoteric Chronicles): is an allegorical play, set in the graveyard lead by king Ubuntu whose powers to rule relies in the heart organ he inherited from his Grandmother (Gogo) .Ubuntu carries the hopes of the village, The play also challenges issues of patriarchal leadership; Ubuntu finds it difficult to acknowledge the legacy of the great Gogo whose heart carries secrets for Ubuntu. Isintu (King`s Advisor) faces the challenge of bringing Ubuntu and the kingdom together.In using African aesthetics to find a universal appeal ,The play connects human experience and explores how individual choices can affect society
