Set in a dynamic digital landscape, this musical theatre piece featuring the Die Argitekbekke employs glitches, scratches, beats and rhymes to traverse time, while also referencing the multiplicity of traditional Cape styles like Ghoema and Kaapse Klopse. Since its premiere in Cape Town in 2010, Afrikaaps has been nominated for 6 South African Theatre awards and has won 2 Kyknet Fiesta Awards.
