South Africa's favourite comedic ventriloquist Conrad Koch is all set to let out his inner puppet in PUPPET GUY at the Baxter Theatre. With this brand new show, Koch hopes to gets back to the silly side of ventriloquism, in a show that allows him to talk to himself and the variety of odd puppet people that live in his head.

Following the success of comedy acts such as PUPPET ASYLUM, THE CHESTER MISSING ROADSHOW and MISSING, PUPPET GUY showcases the guy behind the puppets with a unique take on ventriloquism. This show starts with Koch discovering that his puppets have all gone missing. With the characters having formed such an integral part of his persona, he now needs to find a way of creating new puppets out of interesting objects surrounding him. With Koch aiming to take his artistry to a completely new level of performance, audiences will be introduced to a host of new characters in an inventive, creative and interactive way. A comedy ensemble of one, Koch makes everything from paper bags to feather dusters talk, while also playing the straight man to Chester Missing's latest satirical views on culture and society

Recognized as the top ventriloquist in the country, Koch is a master of combining comedy with puppetry and delivering his perceptive take on the human complexities of society. Holding a Masters in Social Anthropology, Koch constantly has his finger on the pulse of what is new and trending in all things political. Having worked in the industry for over fifteen years, Koch's shows have seen him perform both locally and abroad, where he has been featured on radio and television stations, earning two International Emmy nominations along the way. He has performed at Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal and is a frequent guest at many of South Africa's biggest comedy events, as well as being a regular favourite on the comedy club circuit.

Comedy fans and the politically-minded followers of puppet analyst Chester Missing will find crazy and amazing characters blended with social commentary and hysterically funny situations in PUPPET SHOW. Audiences are guaranteed to get razor-sharp views and opinions from Conrad and his accompanied puppets on every topic imaginable as well as tons of pure silliness.
