THE PLOTHOLE, a comedy directed by Rob van Vuuren and written and performed by Stuart Cairns and Westley Cockrell, will play the Alexander Bar's Upstairs Theatre this February.
In THE PLOTHOLE, Cairns and Cockrell, two renowned Capetonian comedians, offer a new twist on comedy, where two whimsical characters take audiences on an explorative journey to becoming standup comedians. Using a unique storytelling method and through the creative use of props, the pair exposes the embarrassing and hysterical scenarios which they have had to overcome.
"Hilarious" and "energetic" are just a couple of the words critics have used to describe Cairns and Cockrell's show, which toured to last year's National Arts Festival.
THE PLOT HOLE runs at the Alexander Bar's Upstairs Theatre from 20-22 February at 21:00. Tickets are available from the Alexander Bar website and cost R60 if booked and prepaid online, while tickets will also be available at the door for R70. For telephone enquiries, call 021 300 1652. The Alexander Bar, Café and Theatre is situated at 76 Strand Street in the Cape Town city centre and can be followed on Facebook and Twitter.
