THE ILLUSIONISTS Cut Water Act Due to Cape Town Water Crisis  ImageThe international sell out show, The Illusionists Direct from Broadway featuring eight of the world's finest Illusionists opens at GrandWest on 7 February and runs until 11 February 2018. Owing to the critical water crisis in Cape Town the water tank torture cell performance by Escapologist, Krendl has been cut at all GrandWest performances. However, the show will still run for the same duration, giving audiences of an action packed magical experience. Producers and The Illusionists are extremely sensitive to this situation and thank patrons for their understanding.

The show is packed with thrilling and sophisticated magic of unprecedented proportions. Witness stunning acts of grand illusion, levitation, mindreading, and disappearance in this mind-blowing spectacular that showcases the jaw dropping talents of eight of the most incredible Illusionists including award winning magician, author, television show host and performer, The Trickster, David Williamson who also consulted for illusionists David Copperfield's and David Blaine's TV specials. Ben Blaque, The Weapon Master established himself as America's foremost master of the crossbow after appearing on America's Got Talent. Korean-born Den Den, The Manipulator's 'now you see it, now you don't' trickery keeps audiences utterly engrossed, mixing visually beautiful performance also using origami with mind bending magic. Chris Cox is The Mentalist, a self-proclaimed "mind reader" who can't read minds delivers incredible mind-reading stunts with a silly and mischievous sense of fun that leaves audiences amazed and thoroughly entertained.

Husband and wife duo, Mark Kalin, The Showman and Jinger-Leigh The Conjuress will celebrate the 25 anniversary of their engagement on Valentine's Day and on 5 March, their 24th wedding anniversary. These two highly respected, well-known entertainers presented the largest stage illusion of all time, vanishing an American Airlines jumbo jet at the Reno Hilton. Darcy Oake, The Grand Illusionist who visited South Africa last year to promote The Illusionists transports audiences with his charm, his sleight of hand and logic-defying illusions.
