With THE CHESTER MISSING ROADSHOW on its way back to Cape Town after a sold out run in Johannesburg, it is time to meet Conrad Koch and his friends. This cutting edge social satire is returning to the Baxter Theatre by popular demand, for a limited season from today, 23 July to 3 August 2013. Meet the cast below!
Conrad Koch is one of South Africa's most in demand comedy talents, and the winner of the Entertainer of the Year award for 2010. He combines hilarious comedy with world class puppetry, and has done so for over fifteen years to local and international acclaim. He has worked all over the world, been featured on local and international television and is a frequent guest at some of South Africa's biggest comedy events.
Joining him on stage will be Chester Missing, Hilary the Ostrich and Ronnie the Monster. Chester Missing is the world's first political analyst puppet, on a mission to get South Africans laughing at people with power. For those less politically minded, there is international showgirl diva and wannabe celeb gossip columnist, Hilary the Ostrich, and an adorable piece of Koch;s own subconscious mind, Ronnie the Monster. The show is directed by the multiple award winning Heinrich Reisenhofer who has helped bring a depth and dimension not usually seen with ventriloquism. Expect laugh-a-minute comedy madness in a hilarious show.
THE CHESTER MISSING ROADSHOW runs Tuesday to Saturday from today, 23 July to 2 August at 8pm and on 3 August at 7pm. Tickets cost from R90 to R130 via Computicket.
