Oom Schalk Rides Into Trail's End, Elgin

The loveable Oom Schalk is coming to Trail's End Bike Hotel in Grabouw for one performance on Saturday 21 July. F Creations, in partnership with The Merry Scholar, is proud to present Oom Schalk, From the Heart and invite you to come and listen as actor David Muller transports you back in time through the words of the famous character that Herman Charles Bosman created.

Muller, directed by Celia Musikanth of Circle Productions, has been telling Bosman's stories for several years now and always "leaves one craving more of his entertainment" (according to reviewer Beverly Brommert, Cape Argus). The set is simple, the stories classic, and the performance is captivating. Audiences will love the warm-hearted character of Oom Schalk Lourens and the charm with which his stories unfold.

The F Creations and Merry Scholar team is excited and proud to be putting on the inaugural theatre performance happening at the Trail's End Bike Hotel. This beautiful retreat in the Elgin Valley is relatively new and this performance marks the first of its kind for the experience-based hotel. The first of many, we are all sure.

Tickets for this event cost R100. The performance starts at 7:30pm. The audience can also enjoy a dinner along with the show for an extra R150. The first course is served at 7pm.

Guests of Trail's End Bike Hotel who have booked in for two nights or more over the weekend of the performance can see the show for free.
