On Broadway is proud to present the new singing sensation SATISFACTION - a boy band directed by Chad Saaiman featuring smash boy band hits from the 1950s to 2000s. Jarred de Kock moved to Cape Town, from Port Elizabeth, 8 years ago to pursue his music career - he was the winner of Cape Town's regional inter-school Teen Idol competition in 2006. In 2007 he partook in Season 4 of Idols and reached the top 14, this year in season 6 he reached the top 30. Jarred studied drama at Stellenbosch University and is now studying a BA language and communication degree at UWC.
Junaid Roberts, aged 21, started singing at the age of 6 - when he won his first singing competition. Junaid entered the "Westgate Mall Voice Search 2005" and received the runner up prize in his category. In 2007 he had a very successful year performing throughout the Western Cape with "The Vodacom Soul Train in association with Heart 104.9". Junaid has had the privilege of working alongside some of SA's top artistes including Jamali, Garth Taylor, Danny K, HHP, Loyiso and Zwai Bala, The Parlotones, Alistair Izobell, Ramaine Barreiro-Lloyd and many more.
Nicholas Snow is a born and bred Capetonian, who throughout his school career found his way into every school play and musical possible. Upon leaving school he began to work for Stardust restaurant as a singer, tap dancer and MC. This is where his passion for singing truly grew and he began singing coaching to improve and grow his voice. Nicholas has appeared as a dancer and singer for 5678 Events doing promotional and theatre work, and most recently appeared at a Cape Town cabaret venue as a tap dancer.
Steven Lee Lewis grew up in Jo'burg, but currently lives in Cape Town. As a student Steven landed the leading role in the stage production of District Six which lead to many other roles including Fats Waller's Aint Misbehavin' and Who Killed Jimmy Valentine? Steven formed part of the KFM 94.5 Ground Patrol and did daily crossings live on-air to millions of listeners. In August 2008 Steven took part in a reality show which undertook a national search to find South Africa's Troy and Gabriella to play the lead roles in the stage production of High School Musical. Steven soared his way to the final 14. In December 2008 Steven entered an online competition with Motorola to help Wyclef and Fergie find SA's next Motorokstar! It wasn't long before Steven had his bags packed and jetsetted off in style straight to New York City to record with Wyclef and Fergie in Wyclef's studio. Steven also had a role in MNet's League of Glory.
Director Chad Saaiman is already a star on the music scene in the Cape and has recently returned from a successful tour in London. Chad has been performing since the age of 18, and startEd Penning his first songs at the age of 22. After performing alongside many of SA's top artistes, Chad's songwriting skills were called in to write "Found Love" on Loyiso Bala's award-winning album "Blow your mind" with 24.com calling the track ‘a classic ballad'. Chad won a ‘Best of Cape Town Award' in 2008, and his first album "Chasing Melodies" was nominated for a SAMA award in 2009. He won Cosmo's Sexiest Man of the Year November 2009. Chad performed at the Gordon Ramsey Charity Dinner and received a Humanitarian Award from the Table of Peace and Unity. He opened for Eddy Grant in 2009. Chad is currently recording his second album "The Flight".
