JUNK, a new play written and directed by Kimberley Buckle, will play a short season at the Galloway Theatre at the end of May. Buckle is a newly graduated playwright who trained at the Waterfront Theatre School.
JUNK explores the internal conflict of desire and the strength to take action or the will to hold restraint. After Jade has a near death accident, he enters into a world of reflection and self-discovery. Once all the cards in the blame game have been played, Jade is forced to come face to face with his inner demons and angels.
The cast of JUNK includes Max du Toit, Michaela Faria-Richards, Sinead Donnelly and Nicole Jacobs. JUNK, which carries an age restriction of PG14, runs at the Galloway Theatre from 26 - 28 May 2016 at 20:00 nightly. Tickets, costing R90 - R120 ,are available from tixsa.Videos
