Luellla Holland promises to keep audiences at the Alexander Bar's Upstairs Theatre rolling with laughter when she brings her 55-minute comedy show, THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID TOO, to the popular intimate theatre this week.
Created and performed by Holland, with direction by Richard Wright-Firth, THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID TOO takes a stab at social media - everything from Facebook to Twitter and Whatsapp to Skype. In this hysterical romp, Holland's side-splitting antics will leave you in stitches as she plays a host of instantly recognisable characters that everybody encounters in their online social circles. Interspersed with songs and sketches, THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID TOO is a cheeky comedy ripped from the newsfeeds everyone has come to know so well!
Holland describes herself as a "not-so-dumb blonde", whose recent theatre credits include STRANGELY NORMAL, BUTLERS AND BILLIONAIRES, DOCTOR DOCTOR and EDGES. She is also one of the founders of cabaret act, Rock 'n 'Rouge. A qualified drama teacher, Holland teaches private musical theatre lessons and is thrilled to be performing at the Alexander Bar in this solo show.
THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID TOO runs from 8 - 10 October at 9pm. Tickets cost R70 - R80 and can be booked online at the Alexander Bar website or purchased at the bar. For telephone bookings and enquiries, call 021 300 1652. Alexander Bar & Café is situated at 76 Strand Street in the Cape Town city centre and can be followed on Facebook and Twitter.
