David Muller and Celia Muiskanth's stage adaptation of Bruce Clark's memoir, LOVE, SEX, FLEAS, GOD: CONFESSIONS OF A STAY AT HOME DAD, which Muller performs and Musikanth directs, will play a season at the Alexander Upstairs this April.

What drives a man to say, "I'd rather get a dog," when his dying mother suggests he settle down, marry, have children.

In LOVE, SEX, FLEAS, GOD, childhood and parenting are a unifying thread weaving together all the anxieties, frustrations and delights of sex, marriage and fatherhood into one seamless whole. Love Sex Fleas God is amusing, authentic, honest, and poignant with many moments that resonate . P

This is the latest in Muller's series of solo performances, joining characterizations of Herman Charles Bosman's Oom Schalk, Einstein, Tommy (a Kalk Bay fisherman), and the Narrator of WHALE NATION. OVE, SEX, FLEAS, GOD sees him play Bruce and a host of other roles in a show that is sure to resonate with parents and parents-to-be, as the quiet and reserved Bruce turns his toxic childhood into an awesome fatherhood.
