The award winning "MATERIAL" man, Riaad Moosa is one of the most innovative comedians in South Africa. His vast repertoire comprises of silver screen and television acting in addition to perfecting his world renowned current stand-up comedy tour DOCTORS ORDERS - and he really is a medical doctor. He has spearheaded this initiative with the Rondebosch Medical Centre staying true to the old adage, 'laughter is the best medicine'.

The three aims of KEEPING YOU IN STITCHES are to raise funds to extend community based education activities in family medicine through which it is hoped that students will be encouraged to practice medicine in rural areas; to create opportunities for students to learn the other two official languages of the Western Cape (isiXhosa and Afrikaans) to enable them to communicate more effectively with patients who speak these languages; and to build on research endeavours to improve service delivery to the most marginalized communities. All funds raised by the show will go towards the UCT Department of Family Medicine's Community Health Projects.

Book now to see the 'comedy doctor' and the best of South Africa's comedic stars for an evening of top class entertainment that will heal the nation's woes with a healthy dose of laughter, straight up - hold the aspirin.
