Jazzart Dance Theatre Presents SCARS at Artscape Arena Theatre

The Jazzard Dance Theatre Company presents SCARS. Performances will run from January 14 to 23 at the Artscape Arena Theatre.

Being me, fallen between the cracks of black and white,
I am the "schara" - the place of fire.
Being the scar, I am the process of wound repair,
though I am seen to be an inferior replacement.
I cannot be re-built to form part of the tissue-collective before the injury.
I have a different texture and quality.
But after every wound,
There I will be.
For injury does not become a scar until the wound has healed.
Currently, no scar can be completely removed.
No scar can be completely removed.
