CATTLE DRIVE, a production created by Nicholas and Luke Ellenbogen, will play a three-week season at Cape Town's Rosebank Theatre.
Subtitled "the story of the African cowboy", CATTLE DRIVE offers a glimpse of life in Africa from the comfort of the Rosebank Theatre, putting the spotlight on the great cattle drives through the bush of Botswana, a coming of age experience for young men who push herds of half wild cattle to the markets in the south.
Starring award-winning actor Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi with Motheo Madisa and Tafara Nyatsanza, CATTLE DRIVE is directed by Jule Heidelbach. The production is presented by Theatre for Africa, a company that has long been viewed as the leading theatre company when it comes to this genre of music, dance and physical storytelling.CATTLE DRIVE runs from 13 September - 8 October at the Rosebank Theatre.
