Blog series chronicling the experience of 'Broadway in South Africa' during their 2010 trip to South Africa.
Day 1 - The Long Flight to South AfricaWe leave for South Africa today! There are 11 BSA artists going on the trip. We all leave from JFK tonight but are on three separate airlines--South African Airways, Delta, and Virgin Atlantic--and will meet up again in Johannesburg on Wednesday morning. They're all indirect flights so some of us will have layovers in Paris and London for a few hours. As fancy as that sounds, we just want to get to South Africa already! Hoping airport security isn't too crazy. But the weather is gorgeous in New York so it's a perfect day to get on a plane. Next entry will probably be from London...
