Bryan Miles in OBSESSIONS OF A THOUGHT READER

Magic and mentalism will be the order of the day at the Alexander Bar and Café's Upstairs Theatre when Bryan Miles brings OBSESSIONS OF A THOUGHT READER to the popular Cape Town venue this week.

Miles has just returned from his tour across the USA which took him from Las Vegas to Hollywood -including performing at the world-famous Magic Castle in Los Angeles. His one-man show, OBSESSIONS OF A THOUGHT READER, sees him sharing some of his unique obsessions with the audience. Miles is an ordinary person with extraordinary skill, whether extracting people's innermost thoughts or controlling their behaviour.

Miles promises that this show will keep audiences questioning the potential of the human mind. He says:

"I am obsessed with the human mind. Does Free Will exist? Are the thoughts and decisions we make truly our own? Every thought we have results in some kind of action - I don't read minds, I read people."

Tickets for the 65-minute show, which runs from 9-12 September at 7pm nightly, cost R80-R90 can be booked online at the Alexander Bar website or purchased in person at the bar at any time during its regular opening hours. Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Alexander Bar & Café is situated at 76 Strand Street in the Cape Town city centre and can be followed on Facebook and Twitter.
