Alan Committie will return to the City of Gold in LAUGHING MATTERS! After a sold-out festive season in Cape Town at the end of last year, the show will play Pieter Toerien's Montecasino Theatre from this October and November.
Johannesburg audiences can once again enjoy their annual dose of their favourite funnyman in his mort recent solo stand-up show, which is directed by Christopher Weare.
In LAUGHING MATTERS, Committie once again combines witty wordplay with hi-energy madcap antics as he explores the crazy world of today. Taking a look at everything from Toblerone to Trump, "Mcgyvering" to McDonald's, and skinny jeans to Olympic dismounts, the show even has a do-it-yourself Origami demonstration.
Part-time security guard Johan van der Walt is also on hand to outline new strategies for water conservation. Audiences are sure to learn to laugh until they cry and then use the tears to water their gardens - or send them to relatives in the Western Cape.
LAUGHING MATTERS runs from 18 October - 18 November and is ideally suited for the whole family - with particular attention given to those who pay for their tickets. All seats will face the stage, and Committie guarantees that if you do not laugh in this show, he will happily have you buy more tickets to come back another time and try again.
Tickets cost R100 - R180 and can be booked online through Computicket, by phone on 08619158000 or in person from any Shoprite or Checkers outlet nationwide.
