Bella is a mentally challenged woman living at home with her mother, Grandma Kurnitz. Eddie, Bella’s brother, deposits his two young sons in his mother’s home. The summer is eventful with Bella’s secret romance, her brother Louie’s hoodlum actions and a strange new world for the young boys called Yonkers!
