The Premiere Playhouse presents its fourth annual production of Crispin Whittell's adaptation of A Christmas Carol at the historic Sioux Falls Orpheum Theater, featuring nine performances from December 13 to December 21. Thomas Andrew Simmons stars as Ebenezer Scrooge, with Casey Kustak as the Ghost of Jacob Marley, and Sophia Fette and Garrick Moritz portraying the Ghosts of Christmas Past and Present, respectively. This year's cast of 38 local performers highlights family connections, including multiple family members appearing together on stage. Directed by Jesse Jensen, the production showcases fresh choreography, musical arrangements, and new interpretations while maintaining the beloved spirit of the classic holiday tale.
