The Washington Pavilion is honored that our application to establish an endowment goal of $500,000 for the Arts Endowment Challenge: A Community Foundation initiative has been accepted. In its Arts Endowment Challenge efforts, the Washington Pavilion will focus on the Community Learning Center (CLC) and the Paladino Hohm Sculpture Garden renovation and upkeep.

Co-Presidents Larry Toll and Scott Petersen celebrated this decision while explaining that, "These funds will be matched at a 1:3 ratio by the Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation granting an additional $166,666.67 to our endowment fund. Our board of directors has already pledged unanimous support to this campaign, knowing it's in the best interests of our organization and patrons to increase our endowment funds. Washington Pavilion Mgmt. Inc. hopes to continually increase our endowment sources of funding to ensure that arts thrive now and well into our community's future."

The Washington Pavilion is the region's home for the arts, entertainment and science. Located in a beautifully renovated historic building in downtown Sioux Falls, it is one of only a few facilities in the world to bring together under one roof the performing arts, visual arts and interactive science. The vast array of high quality programming and educational activities available through the Husby Performing Arts Center, Kirby Science Discovery Center, Visual Arts Center and the Community Learning Center ensures that people of all ages and walks of life can rely upon the Washington Pavilion to entertain, inspire, educate and enrich. There is, indeed, something for everyone here. For information about our programs, please call (605) 367-7397 or, (toll free) at 1-877-Wash Pav or visit our website at www.washingtonpavilion.org.
