Yuan Sha Guzheng Recital at Esplanade Recital Studio

Be treated to the ethereal sounds of the guzheng in a recital by one of China’s most renowned guzheng virtuosos, Yuan Sha. Known for her elegant and expressive style as well as dedication to the art, she will perform solo and in a trio ensemble, a series of Chinese traditional classics and signature tunes such as A Moonlit Night on the Spring River, The Fisherman's Evening Song, Robe of Clouds and more.

About Yuan Sha
Yuan Sha is currently the President and Teaching Director of China’s Guzheng Academy, and teaches at the Central Conservatory of Music, Beijing. She has also worked with many famous orchestras such as China Philharmonic Orchestra, Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, and Vienna National Opera House Orchestra.
