Immerse yourself in the elegant sounds of Chinese plucked string instruments as Singapore twin sisters Tan Su-Min and Tan Su-Hui showcase the versatility of the ruan (lute) and guzheng (zither) in an exquisite concert.
Like travellers on a music journey, the duo will take you through a rich musical landscape of traditional and contemporary genres with their soulful interpretations of the ancient classic Impressions of the Plum Blossom, traditional Hakka tune Lotus on Water, and modern works Zhongruan Concerto No. 2 (1st Movement) by Liu Xing and Desert Trail by Wei Jun. They also perform their original composition Traveller as the concert finale.
