Tales of Filial Piety at Esplanade theatre studio

The children of the mortal world are giving their parents a hard time and the Heavenly King above is perturbed by their misbehaviours. He summons his subjects to find the most filial children as examples for others to follow. 24 are found and the king is regaled with stories of their love and duty for the parents. Three of such stories particularly moved him, and he decides to share them with the rest of the mortal world.

Tales of Filial Piety is a show that celebrates the love between a child and his parents. Presented by local theatre company The Finger Players, these heartwarming tales of love and filial duty will be brought alive through amazing showcases of both traditional hand puppetry and shadow puppetry.
