The Chamber Harmonica Ensemble (formally known as Ho Tat Chiew Harmonica Ensemble) was formed in 1997. It consists of a group of devoted classical music lovers. Each individual member is a competent soloist. The ensemble has performed in local clubs, community clubs, Victoria Concert Hall and Esplanade. Its repertoire includes well-known classics and modern composition, as well as music originally written for harmonica.
Rezonance Harmonica Ensemble was newly established by youth harmonica players in June 2011. Within the short span of time since its establishment, the ensemble has participated in several performances, more notably, a joint performance at the Esplanade Recital Studio with Sirius Harmonica Ensemble from Taiwan, and the ensemble’s very own performance at the Esplanade foyer. With the ensemble’s wide repertoire of classical and contemporary pieces, its members strive constantly to create a unique sound for the group and to change perspectives on the instrument itself.
