Go on a musical journey back in time to 1980s-90s Singapore with xinyao – a genre of Mandarin popular songs that are composed and sung by Singaporeans. Listen to popular xinyao songs performed by Project Superstar finalist, Sugie Phua and Yu Hui Ling, sing along with them and learn more about Singapore’s music history and the birth and development of xinyao in the 1980s and 1990s.
