Once Upon a Legend – An Introduction to Traditional Chinese Percussion Instruments at Esplanade Recital Studio

Ding Yi Music Company returns to F.Y.I with their last installment of a series featuring the four sections of the Chinese orchestra. This time the musicians will take you on a musical journey across the universe, from the sun to the moon, the stars and the Earth. Watch and listen as they play both Chinese and Western percussion instruments to demonstrate the similarities and differences between the two. The music will be accompanied by animations inspired by Chinese legends and folktales about Hou Yi
