A leading bharatanatyam dancer from India, Urmila Sathyanarayanan is among the most dedicated and inspired bharatanatyam exponents today. Trained under gurus Padmashri K.N. Dandayuthapani Pillai, Kalaimamani K.J. Sarasa and Padmabhushan Kalanidhi Narayanan, Urmila has performed all over India and extensively in Europe and USA. Natya Sankalpaa, founded by Urmila is actively engaged in imparting training to aspiring students.
