DingDing & ShiShi at Esplanade Recital Studio

Cheerful, catchy and full of verve, DingDing & ShiShi’s upbeat and lighthearted urban folk songs range across genres including, rockabilly, bossa nova, funk and rock.

Consisting of Shiz (lead vocals), Pondin (guitar), Ke An (bass) and Bin Laden (percussion), the band was formed through casual songwriting sessions in a park. With determination and hard work, they pursued their musical dreams and released their popular debut album Somewhere Out There in 2013, with the music video for their single Beautiful going on to receive over half a million views on YouTube. Since then, they have performed at music festivals such as the Simple Life Music Festival and Spring Scream in Taiwan, and even were invited as special guests at Taiwanese singer-songwriter Crowd Lu’s concerts.
