Brahms: The Violin Sonatas at Esplanade Recital Studio

In the olden days, a typical wild-haired artistic dude (think Santa) would find himself a picturesque hideout to do some masterpiece conjuring. With great inspiration by the Austrian and Swiss lakes and Johannes Brahms’ ingenuity, came the birth of three great Romantic violin sonatas. The first two sonatas are highly lyrical, while the frisky third sonata balances pulsating energy with a slow song-like movement.
