Awakenings at Esplanade Recital Studio

Awakenings is a journey from “what was” to “what could be”. Featuring works by international choreographers and up-and-coming young local dancers, Awakenings includes a contemplative work by Marie-Gabrielle Rotie (UK), a witty offering from Albert Tiong (Malaysia and Singapore), and premieres by Foo Yun Ying and alumnus Yarra Ileto (T.H.E Dance Company). Awakenings sees the return of senior dancers from LASALLE’s BA (Hons) Dance Programme, and is the da:ns fest debut presentation of the Diploma in Dance’s final year performers. As a company, they come together to take you on a journey of dreams and memories, laughter and tears.
