The Associated Press reports that a same-sex kiss, intended as a comic bit, has been removed from a Singapore production of Claude-Michel Schönberg and Alain Boublil's worldwide smash hit, LES MISERABLES.
The report states that Singapore's Media Development Authority gave the show a "General" rating based on the script, which does not specify the kiss. Rather than accept an "Advisory" rating, the show's organizer, Mediacorp VizPro, released a statement noting they have decide to "remove the scene."
