JUNE 3, 2016, LES MISERABLES Gala Night at THE ESPLANADE - As poetically reflective as it can ever get to Javert's (in this production played by Earl Carpenter) anthem plea in STARS (one of LES MISERABLES' most unforgettable songs of soul-consuming determination), the brightest celebrities and the biggest of the who's who in the international world of publishing, marketing and promotions, film and the media industry, did align in perfect symmetry as if mirroring the throng of revolutionists of the classic VICTOR HUGO literary masterpiece.
During the curtain call of the Gala Night performance of Cameron Mackintosh's re-imagined production of the Alain Boublil and Claude Michel Schonberg mega-musical, audiences rose to their feet with resounding applause for the flawless performance of the 2016 International touring production playing at THE ESPLANADE for a strictly limited season beginning May 31st.

Earliest to show off his signature pearly whites at the Red Carpet is long-time fan of the musical EDWIN GOH, who was also among the last of Singapore's brightest stars to wait until half an hour before the Gala Night's Cast Party closed - just to be among the first to have his photo taken with the entire company of the 2016 International Touring Production of the world's longest running musical phenomenon, fresh off a sold-out 8-week run in Manila, Philippines where the Asian tour kicked off.
