His career spans more than four decades, garnering a Grammy nomination for his Celtic new age album "Highland Cathedral"; two Grand Prix Eurovision awards; and among others honors, the prestigious Gold Badge from the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors (BASCA). His songs have been recorded by Elvis Presley, Sinead O'Connor, Cliff Richards, The Irish Tenors, and others.
