METEOR SHOWER, an absurdist comedy by Steve Martin, is now on stage at Beck Center for the Arts.
The show features music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Martin Charnin, a book by Peter Stone. The musical is based on the play The Flowering Peach by Clifford Odets. The Broadway production ran for 351 performances.

Irving Berlin's White Christmas opened Sunday night November 17 to a packed house at Theatre at the Center in Munster. The cast gave a thrilling performance for an audience that was teeming with the holiday spirit. Theatre at the Center Artistic Director Linda Fortunato directed and choreographed the show.

In Sisters of Swing, produced by Town Hall Arts Center, the lives of LaVerne, Maxene and Patty, are put on display as they sing their way through the years. The show follows the sisters from their early days on the road and rise in fame to their dissembling over irreconcilable differences. With a score chalk-full of hit songs such as, "Bei Mir Bist Du Schon," "Don't Sit Under the Apple Tree," and "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy," some audiences members may get a sense of nostalgia that will leave them smiling.

Last night, Monday August 21, the actress and singer Emily Ellet was mobbed by her many friends and admirers in the audience when it was announced that she had eeked out a photo-finish win in one of the most competitive MetroStar contests in years. Her outstanding mini-set, in which she delivered a dazzingly original interpretation of the '80s disco anthem 'It's Raining Men,' put her ahead of the other four MetroStar finalists, each of whom delivered nearly flawless performances. She really Succeeded in (show) Business and last night in addition to her other accolades, Michele Lee was presented with the Manhattan Association Of Cabaret & Clubs Lifetime Achievement Award. The Broadway Actress and film star, sing, dancer, producer, TV, and cabaret performer was introduced by her good friend Sarah Bernhard, who also noted that Michele is an activist for many social causes. Nobody still does or does it like Michele Lee (to paraphrase Cy Coleman) and she recently was seen on Broadway in WICKED. This summer Michele will be in the New York area when she brings her show 'Nobody Does It Like Me' to Barrington Stage Company on July 31st with her musical director and composer Ron Abel.

The cast of White Christmas launched the Christmas windows at Fenwick of Bond Street in London yesterday, 29 October 2014. The cast, led by Aled Jones, Tom Chambers, Wendi Peters, Graham Cole, Rachel Stanley and Louise Bowden, performed the London premiere of the title number from the show to crowds on Bond Street.
