Just last night, Manhattan Theatre Club presented its 2016 Fall Benefit, honoring two-time Tony Award winner Nathan Lane. The evening will featured appearances by Lane's friends and colleagues: Christine Baranski, Jenni Barber, Mike Birbiglia, Matthew Broderick, Brian Dennehy, Mark Linn-Baker, Andrea Martin, Terrence McNally, Jack O'Brien, Seth Rudetsky, Lewis J. Stadlen, John Slattery, Susan Stroman, and more.

Linked by ocean sounds and the figure of a silent female listener, Spring, and The Last Dance, are a potent, poetic pairing. The girl in Susan Hill's Spring considers the life she has already lived, and the life that lies ahead of her. What might she have to look forward to? But although the sea air on a clifftop in Spring gives the feeling of hope, she's far from carefree.

TACT's rare NY revival of Oliver Goldsmith's She Stoops To Conquer kicks off the theatre's 2016 - '17 season. TACT Artistic Director Scott Alan Evans will direct the production featuring performances from Jeremy Beck* (Widowers' Houses), Cynthia Darlow* (Beyond Therapy), Mairin Lee (The Heiress), James Prendergast* (Happy Birthday),  Tony Roach*(Bright Star), John Rothman (Prelude to a Kiss), Justine Salata*(Lovers), and Richard Thieriot* (Clybourne Park). (*Indicates TACT company member).  She Stoops To Conquer will mark the seventh time that TACT has moved a play from its Salon Series to the Mainstage program. Bucks County Playhouse's second production of the summer season, the high-energy Rock & Roll musical 'Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story,' is directed by Tony nominee Hunter Foster with choreography by Lorin Latarro. This show been seen by over 22 million people worldwide, and is hailed as the most successful rock musical of all time. 'Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story' opened at Bucks County Playhouse (70 S. A classic drama by America's only Nobel Prize-winning playwright continues the 2015-2016 ESL Wilson Stage Series as Geva Theatre Center presents A MOON FOR THE MISBEGOTTEN by Eugene O'Neill and directed by Ben Barnes in the Elaine P. Christina Cole (The Magistrate, The Lightening Play), Jennifer Mudge (Into The Woods, Dutchman) and Lloyd Owen(Good People, The Bodyguard) join internationally acclaimed actor Matthew Perry (Friends, The Odd Couple) to complete the cast in the World Premiere of his playwriting debut, The End of Longing, at the Playhouse Theatre, London, from 2 February - 14 May 2016. Design is by the 2015 Evening Standard award-winner, Anna Fleischle(Hangmen), with lighting by Lucy Carter and composition and sound by Isobel Waller-Bridge. Check out a first look below!
